Job Description

They are interested in speaking to applicants with HSE experience within civil engineering or construction fields and in particular contaminated land or remediation contracting.In the role you will have responsibility for leading the Health, Safety and Environmental standards across a range of civil engineering projects, helping to develop, and implement quality procedures.You will help develop and supervise management of all hazardous waste and maintain records ensuring compliance to all HSE programs.You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting legislative compliance, conducting internal audits and inspections where necessary. You will require good communication and report writing skills as well as the ability work on a variety of diverse projects.Whilst predominantly office based the role will require site visits where necessary.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years industry related experience and will ideally be NEBOSH qualified or equivalent with a good understanding of current CDM regulations within the construction sector.
